TOUCH-AND-GO At the Border Regional Trials in 2006, Denise Schoombie was approached regarding forming a Region in Port Elizabeth. It became a reality shortly afterwards and the club, Touch-and-Go , was registered and Denise was appointed as Regional Director EP. In Port Elizabeth, there is no SADAA training club, so members train at various clubs during the week. |

Eastern Province has hosted a number of club trials throughout the years and always have more than one on a weekend. (Normally 3 club trials). This enables handlers from Sedgefield, George and East London to attend .These regions are all relatively small, so join forces for trials.. Sometimes even the faithful Free Staters have attended club trials in PE. The first Regional Trials were held in April 2008 in Port Elizabeth and our second Regional Trails were held in Graaff-Reinet in April 2009. Eastern Province will now alternate with Border and host a Regional Trial every second year. They have some up and coming young dogs and handlers and the region is growing steadily. |
