Bloem Active Dogs (BAD) is the home of SADAA FREE STATE. The region is headed up by Jurie Smith. Jurie is one of SADAA’s founder members and has been a huge part of the success of the organisation. His passion for the sport led  to him becoming Managing Director from July 2004 to July 2010.

With approximately 10 members, Free State is a small region,  but what they lack in numbers they definitely make up for in spirit.  The three “Vrystaaters”  travel to all of the Regional Trials, and to different regions to hold Judges courses. Jurie, Hannelie De Bruin and Riette Mohr (Admin Manager for SADAA) fly the Free State flag high and make more noise than the rest of the Provinces put together.

Their training Grounds are at Bobbiespark Sport Club, Fichardtpark, Bloemfontein.
