South East Coast![]() About:
The South East Province comprises of a number of major port cities in South Africa including Port Alfred, Port Elizabeth, East London, Grahamstown, George and Knysna. South East Coast incorporates past SADAA regions Eastern Province, Southern Cape & Border. The region has made great progress since 2013 when it was formed, with membership growing and registered clubs holding regular club trials and regional trials annually. Regional Director: Karis Nafte is originally from the USA where she started as a professional dog trainer in 1996. After moving to Cape Town in 2005, she then founded the Happy Dog Training and Agility school in Knysna in 2010. In addition to running a busy agility school Karis also teaches puppy classes, obedience, works as a behaviourist offering individual consultations and is an animal wrangler for the film industry. Karis has loved the sport of agility since she was a teenager. She is a judge for the South African Dog Agility Association and the Regional Director for the South East Coast Region. ![]() LeapDOG Agility is based in Greenacres, Port Elizabeth and is geared at training competitive agility using positive reinforcement training methods such as clicker.
